| Bomber Pilot during World War II |
| Full time Piano Study with Nadia Reisenberg, eminent pianist and
teacher, from 1948 to 1953 |
| First prize in 1951: Young Artists' competition of the National
Guild of Piano Teachers |
| Rhodes Scholarship finalist while working toward a Ph.D. degree
at the University of Michigan, representing the University of Michigan and the State of
Michigan. |
